Mastin Labs – Kodak Everyday Film Pack Review

Mastin Labs Kodak Everyday Film Pack Review
I was fortunate to get an early look at the highly anticipated new preset pack from Kirk Mastin. I took my Sunday to give the everyday film pack review to you guys! The pack includes Kodak Ektar 100, Kodak Gold 200, and my personal favorite Kodak Tri-X 400. This pack really hits home for me because when I first started shooting film I was gifted a box full of Gold 200. Summertime just feels like it should be captured on Ektar. Vibrant warm colors to capture the feeling of the UVs raining down on us while we slurp shaved ice at the lake. Tri-X is just one of those classic black and white films I can’t seem to stop shooting in my Leica M3. It just feels like it’s meant to be in that 1950s solid brass body with that full grain and soft tones.
TL;DR Mastin Labs delivers again, especially for those hybrid film/digital photographers, such as myself.
Watch the full review/preview below on youtube or check the before after sliders at the bottom of this post. Be sure to subscribe to the channel while you are there. I’ll be posting more reviews and how-tos in the future.
