Warped Tour Seattle 2015

Vans Warped Tour Seattle 2015
Warped Tour Seattle 2015 has come and gone and all I’ve got are these damn photos. Actually, I had an even better time this year than I did last year. As I get older, most of the bands I grew up listening to are doing or have done 10 year tours for my favorite albums. That leaves me with something vacant in my soul: the need for new music. People will scoff that I don’t know a lot of the bands touring these days, but I love going to Warped Tour to discover amazing new music. Last year I was very new to the Seattle area and attended Warped on my own, but this year I brought my amazing friend Sarah. Sarah is old buddies with Fit For A King and introduced me to their great music.
I made the mistake of underestimating the traffic in Auburn leading up to the festival at the White River Amphitheater, and we nearly missed the first three songs of We Came as Romans. My must-sees this year actually took up most of my time this year. We Came as Romans, Silverstein, Pierce the Veil, PVRIS, and Beartooth. I was also able to see Fit for a King, Washington Tri-Cities band Night Argent, and Citizen.
The entire day was everything my high school self would have dreamed it would be. The weather was pleasant, unlike most of the 100+ days at the SLC Warped dates. I saw some of my favorite bands and discovered some new talent. Some of the newer bands like PVRIS sounded great but left some to be desired while trying to command a main stage. That will come with time, as the more seasoned bands like Pierce the Veil and Beartooth absolutely killed it, and you could tell being the final day of the tour that they left it all on stage. Beartooth even treated the pumped crowd to a cover of “Blitzkrieg Bop”.
I shot this festival for Rain City Ambience.
